SUMMARY: This position will manage inventory stocking levels and produce analysis by product based on current inventory levels, sales, previous buying / inventory trends, new product launches, future sales projections and projected purchase deliveries / transfers to ensure the site maintains appropriate stocking levels. Based on analysis, the analyst will coordinate with purchasing and warehouse operations at other facilities to ensure timely delivery of the inventory. The position will prepare MRO purchase orders for the site for all non-inventory items, services, or other site support purchases. The position will support inventory control in the functions of quality inspection for inbound containers, verification of transfers into the facility, and cycle counting as assigned. Additional auditing responsibilities will be assigned as applicable for outbound shipments to customers and or other shipping responsibilities as needed. Will work closely with purchasing and accounting to ensure all required documentation is submitted for processing of timely and accurate payment. This position reports to the facility manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
•\tManage inventory on hand compared to sales demand for customers to be serviced by the geographical area defined, consider new products, purchases in transit, and other relevant factors to determine target stocking levels
•\tUse the ERP system and sub systems to monitor inventory on hand, open purchase orders, product usage, locate inventory at other sites, and sales information to incorporate into the inventory analysis
•\tUses excel spreadsheets (and various tools) to analyze and determine purchasing or transfer requirements to maintain proper inventory levels
•\tCoordinate the recommended inventory needs to purchasing to receive or transfer inventory needed to the site to meet sales demand / order fulfillment and maintain targeted stocking levels
•\tPerform the quality inspection duties for inbound containers, record any variances and quality issues, record the MRB forms and communicate those to the Quality Manager and Accounting for accurate supplier payment
•\tPerform cycle counts to maintain and ensure inventory accuracy
•\tEnter non inventory MRO (Maintenance, repair, operations) requisitions into the ERP system and communicate those orders to the supplier with established required dates
•\tMonitor the requisition, ensure timely delivery, verify all supplies against packing list and the PO quantity and price, and submit all paperwork to Accounting to be processed for timely payment
•\tManage supplies levels with Operations team
•\tAudit outbound orders for inventory accuracy and other shipping functions as needed
•\tOther duties as assigned

•\tAssociates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
•\tMinimum 2 years of experience in Inventory Analysis and Control
•\tComputer systems such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Accounting/Buying/Purchasing database systems (Epicor/Prophet 21 experience a plus) and the ability to manage files and records, creating forms, and other office procedures and terminology.; Strong knowledge of Excel functionality utilizing VLookups, Pivot Tables, helpful; Recommended for a buyer/planner to have hands-on experience with MRP system
•\tMust have strong communication skills with ability to communicate verbally, working with vendors, customers, operations, sales, other departments within the company
•\tAbility to read/review contracts to ensure terms/conditions meet requirements of the company
•\tMust be detail oriented and very good and problem solving
•\tMust be intermediate or advanced level in Excel / MS Office, have strong analytical and computer skills, organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent planning skills
•\tKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
•\tKnowledge of promoting, and selling products or services helpful
•\tProcesses, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
