Warehouse/Furniture Repair - Compensation DOE

Excellent opportunity in our Repair Shop to open and inspect all products found to be damaged during the loading process. The Furniture Repair Technician will open, inspect, deluxe, and rewrap product for special inspections and determine the final disposition of these pieces.

We're looking for. . .

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere
  • 2-3 years' repair experience
  • Solid knowledge and competence on:
    • Case Goods repair
    • Upholstery repair
    • Ability to identify product
  • Strong verbal/communication and listening skills
  • Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
  • Ability to work overtime (extended hours and/or additional days)
  • Furniture repair experience
  • Woodworking or construction experience helpful

What we need from you:

  • Repair upholstery and case product
  • Inspect flawed or damaged products, ensuring products meet Company standards
  • Work with Shipping personnel to replace damaged goods
  • Address and report product quality issues for QA review
  • Determine final destination of all damaged products
  • Perform both Regular and White Glove Special Inspections
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
