Report Writer

Intertek is searching for a Report Writer to join our Building & Construction team in our Lithia Springs, GA office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in fenestration products!

The Report Writer is responsible for working with technical staff to prepare laboratory reports for a variety of tests conducted on fenestration products.

What you'll do:

* Prepare technical reports under minimal direction from technical staff
* Generate technical reports from raw data
* Prepare reports by collecting information
* Provide historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems
* Maintain reports using existing web-based software
* Work with the Quality team to ensure all the records are in compliance with the quality system
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
* Perform other work as required

What it takes to be successful in this role:

* High School Diploma or GED, Associate degree preferred
* 2+ years directly related experience
* Expertise in the MS Office suite
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communication skills - both written and oral
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
* Must be self-motivated and detail oriented
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to travel as business needs dictate
