ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading Financial Services organization in the Texas Area for a contract Software Developer (Mule/Java) to assist their team. Will be onsite.
Position: Software Developer (Mule/Java)
Location: Addison, Texas
Duration: 12+ Months
Description:
The Developer is expected to learn the business and technical components of an application and work with their peers to follow enterprise software development methodologies
- Following established written procedures, guidelines, and techniques, develops, enhances, tests, supports, maintains, and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions
- Individual contributor role: fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager, as needed.
- Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project
- Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates. Application Developer will analyze, design, implement, and test APIs built with MuleSoft's ESB solutions and Java solutions.
The ability to build generic APIs that are reusable, scalable, system agnostic, and global are critical to the growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have UI, MuleSoft and Java experience and has experience building APIs across a broad range of platforms. The candidate must also be analytical and adept at working in a team environment. The ability to prioritize multiple projects and effectively partner with stakeholders to drive the business towards a better future is key.
Responsibilities:
- Build high quality APIs that are scalable and global at the core
- Work across various platforms and the associated stakeholders/business users
- Make updates to Java based UI based on project requirements
- Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant IT software experience (Development SDLC lifecycle).
- 02+ years of experience in Mule development.
- 03+ years of experience in Java /Angular development.
- Knowledge of Spring, Spring MVC and Spring Batch.
- Strong Core Java Skills.
- Experience building REST web services is preferred.
- Experience in Webservices (JAXRPC or JAXWS) technologies and Development approaches.
- Basic Knowledge of XML Schema and Processing Technologies (Parsers, JAXB, XSLT etc).
- Good Understanding of Core Java Patterns and J2EE Design Patterns (like Adapters, Business Objects, Delegates, Service Locator, Singleton, DAO, DTO). Mule Framework - MuleSoft
