The In-Store Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting as needed with regard to all administrative functions. Supporting In-
Store Team with recruiting efforts, communication and report distribution.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tracks recruiting ads by ensuring supervisors submit ad tracking information within the required timeframe
  • Generates computer-based reports and forward to supervisors
  • Assists In-Store Regional Manager with payroll
  • Distributes all faxed information to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
  • Updates employee database and New Hire information
  • Verifies receipt and accuracy of leads by comparing Employee Detail against Customer Reports.
  • Contacts supervisor regarding missing or incomplete leads
  • Enters Transaction Processing Center (TPC) related data
  • Assists supervisors with correspondence to Sears Store Managers and promoters
  • Orders and maintains recruiting and marketing tools and distribute to team as requested
  • Communicates with supervisor regarding missing or incorrect time sheet
  • Answers and directs incoming phone calls. Takes messages and forwards when applicable.
  • Maintains files
  • Tracks expense reports and forwarding to corporate for processing
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Ability to multi-task simultaneously with high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing)
  • Ability to self-start with little or no supervision
  • Skill in navigating in and creating spreadsheets
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Skill in using a computer, including using Microsoft Excel and Word

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Some College

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • 18 years of age or older
