Distribution Center Associates

Ferguson is currently taking applications for the right individual to fill any future needs for our Distribution Center.  If you have familiarity and experience with warehousing, shipping and receiving, coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

  • Receive Supplier Shipments
  • Pick customer orders
  • Ship, transport, and deliver material and customer orders
  • Operate forklifts or other equipment
  • Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures

Qualifications

A background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.  An ideal Warehouse Associate will possess the following:

  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
  • Prior experience with production/goal-oriented standards
  • Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it
  • General computer and math skills
  • Forklift Operator experience required
  • Ability to lift 20-70lbs consistently and 100lbs occasionally
  • Experience with heights up to 40ft
  • Willingness to learn and be trained

Pay and Benefits

Fulltime positions require 40 hours per week plus overtime hours as needed

Entry Level pay begins between $12.61-$13.95 hourly
