Responsibilities

Overall Responsibilities

We are currently seeking the services of full-time Senior Technical Architect, preferably based in our Troy, NY or Boston, MA offices. If you are dynamic, mature, ambitious, creative, and autonomous, you will appreciate working with our team of technology professionals committed towards producing superior applications for the Human Services Sector.

Specific Responsibilities

• Architect highly scalable, available, and elastic solutions that implement industry best practices
• Ensure architectural integrity, quality, and consistency across the platform
• Proactively identify and implement procedures to improve and modernize DevOps processes
• Conceive and presents architectural approaches for new products or product improvements
• Collaborate with and mentor other members of the team
• Research the most up-to-date techniques in software and technology
• Liaise with management and IT designers/developers to develop solutions
• Ensure that product plans and roadmaps are aligned with business development strategies, plans and objectives
• Translate business needs to develop solutions for clients
• Advise development leadership to ensure product quality
• Communicate progress and discuss implementation with various internal and external stakeholders

• Strong experience with the following frameworks and languages: ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS
• Strong experience with Javascript frameworks: jQuery, VueJS, AngularJS, React.JS
• Strong experience identifying and implementing .NET Design Patterns
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD
• Experience with Infrastructure-As-Code tools: Terraforms, AWS Cloudformation, Azure Resource Manager
• Cloud experience in order of preference AWS, Azure
• Experience with Unit, TDD and/or BDD and frameworks (NUnit, Selenium, Gherkin)
• Experience working with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB
• Experience with Docker, microservice and/or split stack development is desired

Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
• 10+ years hands on technical experience with Microsoft stack tools
• Experience in healthcare/Medicaid software development and architecting is a huge plus
