Sr Creative Development Manager
*** This position is located in Bellevue, WA; or Overland Park, KS. This is a hybrid environment, requiring 3 days a week in office.
Reporting to the Director of Creative Development, the Senior Creative Development Manager guides and oversees the crafting of compelling narratives and identifying emerging creative opportunities that resonate with T-Mobile's target audiences across various marketing channels. They provide a keen ability to balance big picture thinking with executable creative moments, functioning as both a content strategist and a creative director.
In this capacity, the role extends beyond direct creative execution; rather, it involves collaborating with agency partners to ensure the production of captivating, personalized lifecycle creative that surpasses return on investment expectations and elevates the T-Mobile brand. Managing the critical communication of deals, benefits, and the brand story to both Acquisition and Base consumers, the Senior Creative Development Manager integrates robust asset and project management skills to implement innovative Contextual Marketing models and AI technologies. As a Creative Development Manager, they play a pivotal role in reshaping how T-Mobile connects with customers, using innovative technologies and creative techniques to foster brand engagement and loyalty.
Assuming a higher-level position in management and leadership within the creative development process, the Senior Creative Development Manager focuses on guiding process improvements and strategies to optimize creative output while ensuring alignment with the company's overarching goals.
A day in the life of a Senior Creative Development Manager may include the following:
Creative Strategy
Collaborate with business owners to translate briefs into AI-influenced customer journey marketing campaigns that enhance customer engagement and drive brand loyalty.
Shape creative strategies for Brand campaigns that leverage consumer insights to break through the noise in a competitive market.
Lead the integration of emerging technologies and creative practices, ensuring T-Mobile remains at the forefront of marketing innovation.
Transform data insights into creative action points that optimize campaign performance and elevate the T-Mobile brand narrative.
Enhance customer engagement and retention by adopting emerging creative techniques and technologies.
Ensure creative content tells the right story to the right audience at the right time through strategic leadership and insight.
Collaborate with data and Insights teams to source new customer insights that fuel creative strategies and messaging across segmented audience cohort approach.
Exceed critical metrics and benchmarks through continuous optimization and analysis of creative content using data-driven insights and AI-inspired strategies.
Trial testing strategies across omnichannel campaigns with a strong focus on creative (e.g., color, copy, layout, cadence)
Creative Development
Nurture creative excellence by guiding creative agencies to produce on-brand content resonating with targeted customer personas.
Manage the end-to-end development of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring creative consistency and strategic alignment with the company's goals.
Partner with in-house creative studio and external ad agencies to bring briefs to life through compelling and impactful creative storytelling.
Ensure all creative assets adhere to our brand's visual and messaging guidelines, conducting thorough reviews and adjustments, as necessary.
Facilitate and lead creative sessions, providing guidance and feedback to ensure all content is aligned with brand standards and campaign objectives.
Implement and optimize a suite of design templates that accelerate time-to-market without compromising on the quality of creative output.
Drive year-over-year growth by consistently achieving and surpassing core campaign critical metrics, including open rates, conversion rates, click-through rates, churn rates, and redemption rates, setting new benchmarks against industry standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic innovation.
Present creative at internal leadership meetings Director level and above for strategic leadership feedback.

Preferred Qualifications
5-7 years of professional, non-internship marketing experience
2-3 years of agency or client-side, non-internship experience
Adobe Experience Manager email experience a plus
Lifecycle marketing and/or journey experience a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Advertising, or similar field
* At least 18 years of age
* Legally authorized to work in the United States
Base Pay Range: $84,400 - $152,200
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
