Analyst, Cookie Compliance & Website Data Operations

Data collection plays a central role in the team’s day-to-day operations.

This role is twofold: Ensure data is collected accurately to make it as conducive for analysis as possible, and ensuring data collection falls within the bounds of legal compliance. Working closely with the analytics team and website operations teams, you will disseminate website code to implement our tag management solution across all new campaign pages and full websites. You will also develop and maintain integrations for the tag management solution in conjunction with our cookie consent manager.

The day to day


  • Oversee Tag Management Solution deployment across global web properties, ensuring accurate data collection and tagging

  • Responsible for deploying all Performance and Targeting cookies across web properties, including but not limited to Adobe Analytics/Audience Manager, Google Analytics/Ads/DoubleClick, Facebook Advertising Pixels, Twitter Advertising Pixels, etc.

  • Generate accurate website code to collect data for our analytics platform and QA their implementation

  • Create new properties within Cookie Consent Manager as required by new website launches or new label/territory onboarding

  • Maintain and update integration logic between Cookie Consent Manager platform and global Tag Management Solution

  • Document Cookie Consent Manager implementation instructions for all coding scenarios

  • Screen new cookie placement requests for legal compliance

  • Recommend cookie policy and privacy policy updates to legal team

  • Deploy advertising cookies through company’s Tag Management Solution, researching/coding solutions for bespoke data requirements

  • Govern active cookie deployment for third-parties and ensure scripts are removed from web properties within the approved timeframe

  • Ensure legal agreements are returned from relevant data collectors and executed in accordance with company policy


About you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 2-4+ years professional experience as data analyst within the eCommerce world

  • Experience with HTML, Javascript, and jQuery

  • Working knowledge of website development and coding concepts

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • High level of motivation with ability to work as well autonomously as collaboratively

  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with both creative and business oriented colleagues and partners


We’d love it if you also had:

  • Experience using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar digital marketing analytics platforms

  • History with tag management solutions, such as Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager, or Tealium

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
