Crossing Guards provide essential public safety by ensuring safe student crossing at intersections along the routes to school.
Recommended Minimum Requirements:
- Uniforms and training provided
- $19.83/per hour (2 hours each school day; 10 hours a week)
- Morning shift 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Afternoon shift 45 minutes
- Annual perfect attendance bonus up to $300
- $50 referral bonus for Somerville crossing guards who refer new hires to the City
