Position Summary:

Provide project management for Business Technology initiatives supporting North America’s Frontline Sales business functions.  Individuals filling this role are expected to be capable of leading one or more projects within the corporate environment.  Project management activities include collaboration and integration with other applications, infrastructure, and project teams, and will be delivered through internal and external IT resources, including 3rd party partners. 

Key Job Responsibilities:

•       Lead projects which often require cross-functional resources, vendor resources, and integration and interaction with business associates and project sponsors

•       Create and track project plan, ensuring adherence to project management quality standards

•       Responsible for assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources as needed, and developing a schedule to ensure timely completion of the project

•       Provide strong facilitation and communication skills to help drive project progress

•       Facilitate with stakeholder definition of new business requirements and with changes to existing process and system solutions

•       Follow up with project team members to ensure key activities are being performed

•       Identify approaches to address project gaps

•       Engage with functional corporate teams as needed including Legal, Procurement, IT Security, Vendor Compliance, Infrastructure, and Applications to ensure compliance with internal standards

•       Step in where necessary and support the completion of project activities

•       Conduct regular project meetings, documenting status of project including technical, schedule and financial issues that may be present

•       Align vendor driven and internally resourced project work to meet project deliverables

•       Identify and document key support activities that may be required post implementation

•       Assist and review all startup and planning documents

•       Manage a shared project repository for all relevant project related content

•       Manage the scope, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedule of individual project tasks

•       Manage (e.g., tracks, updates, reviews) the dashboard and executive reports using metric data

•       Establish and enforce the use of the project's Change Control process

Education and Work History:

•       Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical, quantitative, or business discipline

•       Project Management Institute certified Project Management Professional desired

•       10+ years’ Corporate Project Management including Agile Methodologies experience

•       5+ years’ direct project management experience in technology, applications, or operations

•       Experience in managing external vendor relationships

•       Experience in managing outsourced vendor partners

•       Proficient with MS Project, MS-Office, including SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills

•       Proficient with Project Portfolio Management tools (Planview PPM Pro experience is a plus)
