The Daily Herald, a division of Sound Publishing, Inc. is looking for a self-motivated, results-driven person interested in a multimedia sales career to generate advertising sales on new and existing business. This includes a display and classified advertising, special section, preprints, print-and-deliver, internet, and any other product or services available within our family of media products. 45k-65k first year potential with unlimited commission growth opportunities!

• Position pays $40,000 – $45,000 base annual salary plus commission

ABOUT THIS *

You’ll develop and sell effective print and digital marketing campaigns using our Sound Publishing print and online publications as well as extended reach with our strategic digital solutions available within our family of media products. You’ll be implementing tactics such as print, pay-per-click, SEO, video, display, and social media programs for a variety of clients. You must have a passion for helping clients grow their businesses using our print and suite of digital solutions, while keeping up with changes in this dynamic digital environment.

The job *

• Minimum 5+ years of experience selling digital media or services
• Excellent customer service and phone solicitation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of online advertising
• Ability to Identify new business opportunities, aggressively pursue them and close new partnerships
• Computer proficiency in database and spreadsheet software programs.
• Great organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work well under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Good problem-solving skills
• A valid WA driver’s license, clean driving record, and current vehicle insurance.
