Overall Height Adjuster

Summary
The Overall Height Adjuster is chiefly responsible for adjusting fixtures height and assembly for our client in Northwest/Cypress area of Houston, paying $14/hr, and work hours are 8-4:30 Mon-Friday, occasional weekends

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Adjust size and height dimensions of product as directed by lead, supervisor, or management
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of surrounding work area
• Maintain quality in the production department and keep track of all damaged inventory reporting to the supervising authorities
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Requires squatting, kneeling, bending, and some overhead lifting
• Accomplishes all task assigned or requested
• Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions required
• Ability to perform UL testing on assembled or reworked lighting
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds infrequently as a team lift
• Must learn and maintain product knowledge
• Other job duties when applicable

Qualifications
• High School diploma or a GED
• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience as an Electronic Assembler and/or Refinisher
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Strive to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be eighteen years of age or older
• Excellent communication skills
• Good math, reading, and communication skills
