Are you an experienced Deskside Support Analyst who, not only loves complex challenges, but thrives on providing top-level customer support? We are looking for a VIP Support Technician to be responsible for the care, troubleshooting, and installation of computer or computer-related equipment, along with phones and tablets.

This position will work onsite at the Andover location 75% of the time and at the Cambridge location 25% of the time, so candidates need to be open to work at both locations.
  • This individual should be knowledgeable in Windows 10, iOS (for iPhones, iPads), laptops, Outlook calendar, Skype, Skype Enterprise Voice, etc. 
  • Experience supporting MacBooks will be very beneficial in this role
  • This role will require you to carry a work-issued iPhone
  • When not providing VIP support, you will be tasked with various other IT requests, event supporting small projects, and other general IT action-items
General Duties:
  • Test, image and clean PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware
  • Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals
  • Set up, configure, and add all hardware
  • Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMACs
  • Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention
  • Provide technical support to end users via telephone and in person
  • Back up and burn end user data
  • Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes
  • Assist coworkers in resolution of end users' technical issues
  • Assist coworkers in the execution of established processes and escalations
  • 5 - 7 years of hands-on technical knowledge of laptop and desktop design and software installation required
  • A+ / ACMT and/or OEM certifications strongly preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in an enterprise, break-fix environment
  • Familiarity with standard tech support concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Experience in an enterprise, break-fix environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting VIPs and/or corporate executives
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
