Your Impact:

We're seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical/HVAC Engineer to be part of our Southeastern US Building Mechanical team. The best part is you can live anywhere within the United States and work remotely. You will lead a team of engineers and designers on variety of projects with clients in the chemical, manufacturing, pulp & paper, microelectronics, and pharmaceutical industries. You will be responsible for the design of Mechanical/HVAC and utility systems, and you will help assist in the career development of the Building Mechanical team. HVAC design could include general comfort heating and cooling with accurate temperature or humidity control, unique pressurization requirements, and/or cleanliness requirements for clean room applications. Projects could involve design of process exhaust or combustible dust handling systems. You may be involved in design of utility systems on projects as well and could include steam, chilled water, cooling water, potable water, purified water, compressed air, and natural gas.

Here's What You'll Need:

* Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience in the engineering of Mechanical/HVAC systems.
* Professional engineering license.
* Thorough knowledge of codes and standards.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

* Proficiency in Trane Trace 700, Trane Trace 3D, Pipe Flow.
* Experience in HVAC clean room design.
* Experience in lithium ion battery/cell manufacturing projects.
* Experience in microelectronics projects.
