Identify, develop, and qualify a pipeline of new business opportunities

Develop sales plan and effectively manage resources to maximize return on expenditures

Prepare accurate, clear and concise applications on new and renewal business

Prepare and/or present proposals to prospects and clients

Respond to client’s needs

Recommend enhancements and actively build client relationship

Property & Casualty Producer License (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to learn how to negotiate and close business

• Possession of, or in pursuit of, professional insurance designations a plus

Self-motivated and flexible with ability to work independently

General understanding of risk management functions

Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to analyze, judge, and problem-solve

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel during the week

IMA offers a competitive salary & benefit package. This role offers a base salary plus commission structure. $75,000 – $150,000, based on experience and achievements. Qualified candidates are encouraged to email their resume to
