Our partner, a national provider of diagnostic testing headquartered in Burlington, North Carolina, has an immediate need for customer service support representatives at one of their Mcleansville locations. The Account Receivable Reconciliation Support will perform specialized processing of accounts receivable issues requiring advanced training and technical skills. Areas of responsibility may include, but are not limited to, credit/refund correspondence and research, audit and review support, RCDM analysis, and letters of credit and communications. Additional certification in code processing and leadership responsibilities may be prerequisites depending on location and position expectations. The shift will be Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm. The hourly pay rate will be $12/hr based on experience.
Perform review of credit balance specimens within open Accounts Receivable and take necessary next action (adjustment and/or refund) to reconcile the item to the appropriate bill balance.
Utilize the billing system and Document Direct to evaluate all relevant explanation of benefits, payments and adjustments to determine corrective actions.
Utilize research and data analysis skills to determine corrective actions.
Due to the importance of accuracy when balancing, proficiency with numbers and basic accounting skills are required.
Interact with internal customers to resolve outstanding issues.
Focus on mainly transactional work, less independent troubleshooting
High School Diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of experience in Reconciliation/EOB (explanation of benefits)
Resume and professional references required
Must complete typing test and meet minimum requires for speed and accuracy
Candidates subject to criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Ability to problem solve demonstrated by example in previous work experience where candidate identified a problem and performed research to solve the problem
Critical thinking skills demonstrated by ability to find trends and abnormalities in their environment
Should be detail oriented and pay close attention to details
Effective written and verbal communication
Excellent typing skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficient with numbers
Able to utilize computerized databases, quickly and accurately research information and effectively manage time
Should feel comfortable with a changing environment such as changing duties, priorities and SOP's
Basic Excel and Word skills
