Marketing Strategist

Amphenol Corporation Hoffman Estates, IL Full-Time
The Marketing Strategist plays a crucial role in enhancing overall brand value by driving brand messaging, maintaining the company's reputation, increasing engagement, and growing brand advocacy through multi-channel communication. You will be responsible for actively participating in several marketing activities, team meetings, executing marketing tactics, plans, and daily duties assigned either working individually or in teams per goals set by the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Strategist works closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Service teams to collaborate on several projects.

The successful candidate must be a self-learner, ambitious, fast-paced, and able to handle multiple projects within a set deadline. Assisting in internal and external communications, the Marketing Strategist will have a role to play in managing and maintaining the brand voice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Create strong content based on strategy, targets, and goals for the Marketing department
* Create brand messaging and brand voice
* Manage corporate website and intranet and ensure product information is updated on time
* Manage Social Media strategy/content development, blogs, and PR articles
* Work with the design team to create original ideas, write copy to enhance company branding
* Work with vendors, media, and agencies, including media planning, buying, and negotiation
* Collaborate with Sales, Product, Service & Engineering teams to work on communication or marketing assignments
* Proactively work with the Product Management team to create and maintain Datasheets, Ordering Guides, Case studies, etc.
* Assist with Trade shows to create email communication
* Work on video scripts and photography projects
* Keep a tab on competitors and market trends and react and inform accordingly
* Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

* 5+ years' experience working in a marketing communications role
* Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or relevant field
* Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects within a set deadline
* Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
* Strong content development skills
* Superior written and verbal communications skills
* A creative thinker strong at developing meaningful marketing campaigns
* Demonstrated ability to use social media channels creatively and effectively using Hootsuite
* Experience with WordPress is required
* Adobe Creative Suite experience is preferred
* Experience in working on Photography and Videography is a plus
