Construction Civil Tradesman - US Secret Clearance Required - Nogales, Mexico

PRO-Telligent, A Tetra Tech Company, urgently needs a Civil Tradesman with a US Secret Security Clearance for construction of U.S. Department of State's 8.4 Acre New US Consulate Compound (NCC) in Nogales, Mexico with bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO). The project is right along the US/Mexico border directly south of Tucson and starts in August/September.

The Project

  • 8.4 Acre New Consulate Compound (NCC)
    • Consulate Building and Support Annexes (SPX)
    • Maintenance Shops and Vehicle Maintenance Facilities
    • 3 Compound Access Control Facilities (CACs)
    • Warehouses, Parking (PKG), and Swimming Pool
    • Bordered by upscale residences and shopping area to southeast
    • High point near west corner estimated at least 30m above main access point to east
    • Sits well above surrounding grades and will require significant excavation for access and construction
  • Project Duration is 36 months / we ask for a minimum commitment of 1 year
  • Housing and transportation allowances provided
  • Uplift includes 15% of base salary
  • Full benefits included (medical, dental, vision, 30 days paid time off a year, paid round trip flights home every 12 months on assignment

Position Description

  • Provide full range of critical engineering, construction quality assurance, and technical oversight.
  • Perform technical inspections of civil and structural work, monitor construction contractor's quality control program, and review project drawings to ensure compliance.
  • Observe onsite construction and determine if construction elements are being installed, formed, and executed properly.
  • Monitor construction progress with regard to project schedule and submit weekly progress reports with recommendations based on technical review of project documents and field inspections.

Requirements

  • Secret Clearance or higher
  • 10 years construction experience
  • High School Diploma
