Accounting Clerk
Our client is in the automotive industry and is looking for an Accounting Clerk to help facilitate daily journal entries. This company is family-owned business who specialize in the international import of automobiles directly to consumers.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$22 – $24/hr
Position Overview:
This position is a hybrid role. The Accounting Clerk will process disbursements and reconcile billing, as well as assist the Controller in an administrative capacity. Daily task will include bank reconciliation as well as documenting and monitoring accounting procedures and policies. This Accounting Clerk candidate should be highly motivated and a quick learner.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:
- Compares bank reconciliation vs bank statements
- Assist in year-end reports
- Prepare invoices, checks, as well as other records
- Run monthly reports as required
- Summarize monthly activity regarding shipments
Qualifications for the Accounting Clerk:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Complies with all local and federal accounting policies
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
