Patient Service Representative
Classification: Patient Service Representative
Compensation: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly

If yes, Robert Half Healthcare Practice has a job for you! We are currently partnering with a high end mental health facility located in San Francisco. This is an immediate start and will be a temporary to hire role. The ideal candidate has prior experience as a Patient Service Representative, clinical experience, and a professional and personal demeanor. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the first person to greet patients and the face of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Greeting patients and checking them in
- Collecting co-payments and insurance verifications
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Scheduling new appointments and following up on reschedules
- Filing and maintaining patient charts
- Ensuring completion of paperwork and answering any questions
- Observe strict patient confidentiality
- Prior experience with EMR systems preferred
- Experience with medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Empathetic and patient with clients
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and can type 40 wpm
