Bookkeeper - Client Accounting - HYBRID/REMOTE
Position: Bookkeeper with Client Accounting Experience. - HYBRID / REMOTE - Decatur, Ga
Essential Functions:
- Client Accounting Services (CAS): Directly manage assigned client accounts, covering bookkeeping, payroll, payroll tax, sales and use tax, financial statement preparation, and other accounting and consulting tasks.
- Skill Sets: Exhibit precision and clarity in work, maintain positive client and firm relations, show eagerness for assignments (including advanced or technical projects), and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of two years in bookkeeping, with preference for candidates holding an accounting degree.
- Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, along with proficiency in various accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, etc.
- Technical Skills: Strong grasp of accounting principles, adept at recording business transactions in a full accrual general ledger, experience in account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, payroll processing, and tax return preparation.
- Personal Attributes: Demonstrate integrity, maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, exhibit trustworthiness, possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Confidentiality: Exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons.
