Technical Coach
Akkodis is seeking a Technical Coach for a Contract job with a client in Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid). You will mentor software teams, lead pairing sessions, and design coaching interventions to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Technical Coach job responsibilities include:
Coaching teams in an immersive environment, fostering learning in modern technology, architecture, and DevOps practices.
Mentoring software engineers and architects, helping them apply new methods to solve problems.
Designing and leading large pairing/mobbing sessions to maximize team learning.
Developing materials to support modern engineering practices and ways of working.
Embedding teams to understand their environment and behaviors, then creating tailored coaching interventions.
Leading by example, demonstrating desired behaviors and culture while addressing undesirable actions.
Collaborating with leadership and product teams to influence the engineering culture and improve customer delivery.
Contributing to the developer experience platform to streamline continuous value delivery across teams.
Desired Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a coaching or mentorship role.
Expertise in modern technologies, including Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/Typescript, Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and strong communication skills for mentoring and coaching engineering teams.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $70.00 per hour
