My client is a nonprofit located in NW D.C. with an exciting new opportunity for Administrative Assistant. This is a new position that will provide support to the Industry Affairs Department of the Capitol Hill Association. The Administrative Assistant must be comfortable in a fast pace environment and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Administrative professionals with political and/or Capitol Hill experience are strongly encouraged to apply. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
• Calendar management in MS Outlook for the entire office
• Responsible for all administrative and clerical task, including receptionist duties
• Managing conference rooms, client appointments, greeting guest, and receiving mail
• Processing expense reports, travel arraignment, and maintaining files
• Assisting in special projects, including planning events and engagements
• Depositing and tracking donator payments in CRM system
• Order and maintain office supplies ensuring the office is operating efficiently

BS/BA degree from 4 year accredited College/ University
1 + years’ experience in similar role
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Excel
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
