Summary of Responsibilities #CB:
JTCHS is seeking a LCSW for our school health program. Candidate will be responsible for assessing students psychosocial/developmental needs and create individualized plan. Perform screenings for developmental, social, emotional and behavioral well-being by identifying with behavioral tools such as the PQH-9. Assist in the screening of exceptional students (ESE) and help implementing interventions aimed at behavioral health, social-emotional development and academic achievement. Provide counseling and resources to family, parent and teachers.
Details of Education and Skills:
Master’s Degree in Social Work form an accredited learning institution.
Clear and current State of Florida License
Minimum 1 year pediatric/adolescent experience.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent computer skills & proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Must be able to be Credentialed as Provider with Medicare/ Medicaid and other insurance plans.
Special Requirements and Skills:
Current CPR (from American Heart Association)
Current First Aid
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw)
