**Job Description**

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory.

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

**Responsibilities**

Oracle Oracle Cerner is seeking a Senior Strategic Development Executive to drive new business sales within large multi-facility health systems and government entities across a designated territory.

As the Senior Strategic Development Executive, you will analyze market and competitive intelligence and establish a network of relationships within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN) and government markets to develop sales strategies for complex client opportunities. You will build and maintain relationships at all levels with the client organization and consult with prospective clients on Oracle Oracle Cerner solutions and services. Coordinate across multiple sales channels to develop and progress sales proposals that address the specific needs of the client organization. As the Senior Strategic Development Executive, you will drive proposals and deals at the market or country level, lead contract negotiations, and manage pipelines and forecasts to drive sales opportunities to closure against a sales quota.

**Basic Qualifications**

+ At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

+ At least 2 years sales, business development, client relationship management, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience

+ At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

+ High School Diploma

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

**Expectations**

+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned

+ Willing to travel up to 80% as needed

+ Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

+ Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
