ELS is hiring for the position of Paid Advertising Manager in Chicago, Illinois.

What you’ll do:

The Paid Advertising Manager is responsible for the management and implementation of strategic paid digital advertising campaigns, supporting multiple business lines. The Digital Marketing Manager will work with internal and external partners on direct response digital advertising campaigns that deliver positive ROI, through effective targeting, tracking, and reporting. Timely execution of campaigns is critical in meeting business goals. This position stays abreast of changes in the digital marketing environment and in the competitive landscape, adjusting digital plans and associated budgets accordingly to meet goals and objectives of the company.

Your job will include:

  • Develop and execute the company’s paid digital advertising plans, strategies, and tactics
  • Work with key stakeholders and external partners on digital advertising initiatives to optimize display, search, and social campaigns
  • Management of agency to ensure optimizing campaigns across platforms and new strategies are implemented
  • Oversee reporting and the performance analytics of campaigns across multiple business lines
  • Management of digital marketing budget to ensure positive ROI across platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate online media campaigns to keep fresh and effective
  • Lead strategic discussions on new channels, targeting that align with business goals
  • Stay current with changes in digital marketing that may impact business goals
  • Support internal and external partners through effective communication and planning for launch of new digital initiatives/cohesive campaigns
  • Oversee digital advertising initiatives to ensure timely execution and effectiveness
  • Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met, adhering to approved budgets
  • Adhere to established company brand standards to promote and maintain the company’s brands to generate business across multiple digital platforms

Experience & skills you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with direct response advertising campaigns, optimizing ROI
  • Must have knowledge of digital marketing platforms and performance analytics
  • 5+ years of experience managing and executing paid digital media campaigns including display, social, SEO, SEM for direct response and lead generation efforts
  • Experience managing an agency and associated budgets
  • Able to work with colleagues at all levels to achieve marketing goals and deliver results driven digital campaigns
  • Responsible for managing digital marketing budget across multiple business lines
  • Digital marketing certificate a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong presentation skills and a high degree of comfort with public speaking.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
