The bookkeeper's primary duties are as follow:
- Oversight of billing and related corrections and adjustments
- Accounts Receivable Management
- Collections - Follow up on delinquent accounts receivable
- Oversight of HR and Payroll
- Assure personnel files are in order
- Assure documents are obtained for all new employees and are on file for all existing employees
- Financial and Cash Forecasting
- With Assistant Controller perform monthly financial closing
- Maintain Cash and other account reconciliations
- Monthly credit card reconciliations
- Issue timely and complete financial statements
- Financial analysis as needed
- Maintain and balance intercompany accounts.
- Ensure that accounts payable are entered and paid in a timely manner for all companies
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Other duties from time to time assigned by the Controller or assistant controller
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
