Legal Intern

Burnett is currently partnering with one of the top IT Consulting firms in the area. They have an upcoming contract need in their Legal Department. This is the ideal opportunity for someone in law school, an undergraduate studying pre-law or intending to go to law school, or even a recent law grad. It is also ideal for someone with paralegal background.


Main Duties:

The main duties for this opportunity revolve around a large-scale contract review project (reviewing all of their customer contracts, and essentially filling out a scorecard for each based on review of key provisions.



Qualified Candidates Will Have:


• Some previous legal education/experience required

• Familiarity with commercial contracts

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Strong work ethic

• Ability to work efficiently, with little supervision



The client is targeting 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) for 3-4 weeks. They can be flex on this, though, if someone needed less hours, or had some scheduling to work around. Pay will be $20/hr. The first week will be in the office (located Downtown) but after that, the client is open to interns working remotely.
