Division Director

PAE has an opportunity for a Program Manager to provide overall Division management for one of its Automated Litigation Support programs. The Program Manager is the central point of contact with the Federal Government in support of a full spectrum of litigation support and e-discovery solutions assisting attorneys to acquire, organize, develop, and present evidence throughout litigation life cycle from discovery, pre-trial, post-trial and appeals.   The Program Manager will provide productivity and management analytics and methodologies, quality control, establishment and maintenance of technical and financial plans, as well as providing day-to-day management of the litigation support program to ensure contractual and business requirements are achieved. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional technical and management skills to include:

  • Technical skills related to litigation support, including the ability to discuss, present, offer solutions, and write compellingly about such tasks
  • Demonstrated knowledge and problem resolution in all aspects of investigations and litigation support, and related activities
  • Financial management capabilities, including forecasting, analysis, valuation of performance, and invoicing in a large and complex environment
  • High-level skills in metric analytics, financial analysis and execution and scheduling
  • Ability to produce high quality and well thought out plans, reporting, and lessons learned for both executive leadership and clients
  • Collaboration with customers to expand identification and execution of new tools and approaches to new and existing problems
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with organizational leadership for all corporate activities
  • Manage proposal efforts for Task Order RFPs with business acumen to produce quality proposals and task order bids including price analysis and technical workflow
  • Manage the hiring and termination decisions with HR support
  • Evaluate staff and manage subcontractor vendor performance
  • Assess and approve Division contract expenditure
  • Present monthly program management reviews to C-level management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience with a broad and deep knowledge of litigation support, business administration, human resources management, information resources management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workflows for identification, collection, processing, review, and production of Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
  • Hands-on experience with ESI tools such as Relativity, Venio, or similar eDiscovery tools
  • Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication
  • Trial support experience highly desirable
  • Strong programmatic skills in metrics analytics, critical path scheduling, and earned value management
  • Extensive knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Ability to formulate, articulate, and execute innovative solutions
  • Success in business development activities to include both structured and semi-structured capture and proposal efforts
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; easily and skillfully communicate sensitive information, able to tactfully modify beliefs, opinions and behaviors with customers, employees, and team members
  • Negotiation skills; able to address with customers, team members, employees, and vendors in a calm, efficient, and respectful manner
  • Established knowledge of industry tools for hosting, e-discovery, computer forensics, processing, and related activities
  • Experience in streamlining review workflow and methodologies
  • Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JD or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a technical area related to the line of business
  • Experience working with Citrix or similar tools.
  • Specialized experience with the financial, technical/solutions development, and business development aspects of the job
  • In depth knowledge of Federal litigation support agencies and client leadership
  • Direct personal experience with files processing and hosting
  • Significant experience with proposal goals and strategies, writing, editing, and compliance (and other) reviews
  • Experience presenting to industry, client, and internal personnel of all levels
  • Use of analytics in Relativity, including structured and conceptual analytics helpful
  • In depth knowledge of current industry standards and practices is very useful
  • Possess the technical acumen to learn new tools quickly and train staff
  • Highly effective in deadline-intensive work environment
