As a Windstream Enterprise Account Executive, you will:
Meet or exceed company sales metrics by gaining profitable business; track relevant productivity metrics and adjusting activity; seek coaching to continually improve business acumen and professional capability.
Acquire new business by prospecting for new customers in the area (via telephone calls, door-to-door, emails, letters, social media and networking); leverage relationships with referral/endorser partners and key industry partners; communicate and collaborate with other internal sales teams; gain referrals from current customers; participate in marketing demand generation initiatives.
Generate sales to new customers by establishing executive sponsorship with top-level influencers; build long-term, mutually-beneficial relationships with all influencers; listen to learn all critical business issues (CBIs) and wins/losses of all influencers; challenge conventional thinking to enhance credibility and establish differentiation from competitors; present the company brand by differentiating Windstream from competitors; organize internal resources appropriately for each customer opportunity; deliver customized solutions which meet customer expectations and address CBIs; follows-up to ensure customer satisfaction and gain referrals.
Follow a disciplined, structured sales process by deploying solution selling and strategic selling tools and techniques; submit activity and results reports on time; manage sales opportunity progress through Salesforce; submit accurate orders in a timely manner.
Maximize sales opportunities by planning and managing selling time; analyze market sales data to identify and pursue high probability opportunities; research customer business model/vertical specific business approach; assess the needs of each unique customer; leverage marketing materials and information (solutions/business cases) to support proposals; utilize internal resources to increase probability of obtaining business.
Broad Industry Experience and Knowledge with Core Focus on Helping My Customers Meet Their Needs, Reduce Costs, Increase Efficiencies and Network Diversity with Data Center Connectivity, Data Communications, Spectrum, Line Systems, Dark Fiber, Fiber, DWDM, Internet, Ethernet, MPLS, Waves, PVL, Security, Routers, Firewalls, Web, E-Commerce, SIP, VOIP, Data Access, Transport, Cloud, Data Center, and IP.
