A bank in New York City is actively seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join their staff as their new Junior Capital Markets Auditor. In this role, the Junior Capital Markets Auditor will participate in audits across various business lines and support functions within the Americas regions. 


The Junior Capital Markets Auditor will be responsible for:

  • Working independently and responsibly on assigned tasks
  • Actively participating in all stages of the audit process
  • Effectively communicating with auditees
  • Analyzing assigned business processes, procedures, and risks
  • Preparing high quality workpapers that support the findings and conclusions
  • Anticipating, understanding, and escalating issues appropriately for timely resolution
  • Participating in department wide transformation projects


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge and/or familiarity with some of the following audit types: General Controls Reviews, Integrated audits, and pre-implementation reviews
  • Familiarity with Capital Markets businesses and understanding of Financial Services products
  • Familiarity with Risk Management best practices and how they apply in the Financial Services Industry
  • Familiarity with rules and regulations applicable to Markets and Investment Management businesses
  • Knowledge of data analytics techniques
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills
