Job Description You will report to the Senior International Marine Key Account Manager – North America.

You will work for our Marketing and Services branch which is responsible to help our business and retail customers to optimize their transportation experience and operations through our wide range of products and services.
You are responsible for the technical support for customers in America, technical follow-up of customers vessels, promotion and execution of Lubmarine’s paid technical services as well as responsible for the participation in the service tests organized by the Lubmarine Central Marine Technical Team (TMA) and on-demand technical support for power plants.

  • Technical support for customers / partners / distributors:
Prepare, modify and maintain lubcharts (lubrication plans) for customers

the necessary information about portfolio of vessels to maintain the ships database (vessel and power plant registration system)​​​​​​​
daily all actions related to the paid technical services of Lubmarine (lube oil analyses, drain oil reports, onboard analyses, etc.)
Visit contracted vessels for technical support on lubrication. Ensure good contact with clients, in particular with ship superintendents and crews
Organize collection of lubricant or fuel samples and answer technical inquiries from customers

  • Supporting Lubmarine\u0027s sales and logistics teams:
Responding to commercial or logistical queries from the Lubmarine network as directed and recommended by the Lubmarine central Marine Technical Team (TMA)
technical seminars for customers or internal teams on request, give lectures at maritime universities or schools.​​​​​​​
and/or accompany the sales teams in sales actions related to Lubmarine products and technical services proposed to customers
technical information on Lubmarine products and services, constantly updating knowledge of local markets
current or prospective customers with the IMKAM upon request.

  • Supporting Lubmarine\u0027s technical network:
and analyze all type of technical information from the market, equipment manufacturers, shipyards, customers and propose improvements to the management.

Participate in the action plans for in-service testing of new products / services​​​​​​​
improvement of Lubmarine technical offer and participate in technical discussions (internal / external)
  • Others:
Maintains working knowledge of regulations impacting maritime industry and latest technical details on marine diesel engines, including OEM approvals to inform customers and prospects
​​​​​​​Prepares monthly technical report for local management and participates in monthly technical chat with head office
