Position Summary

Our Installers make the magic happen. They bring customers dream spaces to life with a mix of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pride in their work.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing our products and systems in a safe, high-quality, productive, and accurate manner. Based on provided designs and components, Installers will construct, erect, and build custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware, and other materials, requiring skills with hand tools and power tools.

A successful Installer doesnt necessarily have prior experience. We will teach you the mechanics and California Closets style. What Will You Do?

  • Utilize company provided CAD drawings and blueprints to install systems properly and efficiently
  • Construct and install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in residential homes and commercial buildings
  • Assemble and install systems of varying complexity both independently and with other team members, depending on the size of the system
  • Assist in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes
  • Provide a high level of customer service during all installation projects
  • Use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment in safe working order and adhere to all safety standards
  • Responsible for accurately taking field notes in the field and coming up with a comprehensive plan of action for next steps.
  • Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company-provided vehicles in a safe manner

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with common hand and power tools is helpful, but not required
  • Strong communications skills and desire to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Experience working in the skilled trades, construction, installation, and/or woodworking industry is helpful, but not required
  • Ability to work individually and as a team
  • Ability to remain active for an 8+ hour shift
  • Attention to detail, with a commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to lift 50-75 lbs; climb stairs, crouch, etc.
  • Desire to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Valid drivers license
