Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing higher-ed, corporate, and lab fit-out projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
  • Facilitate clear communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
  • Manage project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource allocation, ensuring projects remain within financial parameters.
  • Aid in the preparation and review of project contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules using tools such as Procore and P6.
  • Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:
  • 2-5+ years of construction experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related preferred
  • Project experience in life sciences, tenant interiors, multifamily or related preferred
  • Strong written and organization skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
