Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing higher-ed, corporate, and lab fit-out projects, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Facilitate clear communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders, addressing any issues or changes promptly.
- Manage project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource allocation, ensuring projects remain within financial parameters.
- Aid in the preparation and review of project contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project schedules using tools such as Procore and P6.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.

The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Project Manager will have:
- 2-5+ years of construction experience
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related preferred
- Project experience in life sciences, tenant interiors, multifamily or related preferred
- Strong written and organization skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
