IT Audit Manager

Position Summary

This position reports to the Vice President-Internal Audit and is primarily responsible for the development and execution of the IT portion of the annual risk-based Audit Plan to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of key financial and operational controls / processes, serving as a business partner to management by communicating actionable, valued-added solutions.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the IT portion of the annual risk-based Audit Plan, including the following:

    • Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) testing

    • Operational and compliance audits and ad-hoc special projects

    • Consultative assistance

    • External IT auditor assistance / coordination

  • People management

    • Manage and develop Internal Audit (IA) staff assisting with IT audit work

    • Supervise external IT Audit consultants as applicable

    • Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across Rexnord platforms and functions

  • Project management

    • Prepare IT portion of IA department budget and forecasts

    • Schedule timing, resourcing and logistics for IT audits and projects

    • Manage the scoping / planning, fieldwork, post-fieldwork and reporting for IT audits and projects

    • Follow-up on remediation status of IT audit issues to ensure timely closure

  • Assess control and process risk and materiality

  • Collaborate with Corporate IA Manager to drive continuous improvement of IA processes and approach, including Data Analytics program

Experience and Skill Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Accounting or relevant field

  • Minimum 7+ years of IT audit experience, preferably in a public accounting and / or corporate environment

  • Certifications: CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CPA strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of general IT controls, application controls, and control frameworks (SOX 404 IT requirements, COBIT, COSO, NIST, and ITIL)

  • Experience with relevant technologies preferred [e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta), Windows Active Directory, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), IDEA data analytics software]

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
