REHABILITATION AND NURSING CARE DESCRIPTION - Hartsfield Village is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that celebrates the full continuum of life and promotes successful aging. Our post-acute rehabilitation program offers state-of-the-art technology and advanced rehabilitation techniques to help our patients achieve maximum function and independence. Our on-going staff education and training, and thorough knowledge in post-acute rehabilitation pathways and protocols ensure highly skilled professionals ready to serve patients with complex medical needs. The Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing building has a total of 112 beds (16 Ortho, 45 Rehab, 51 Skilled Nursing beds.
BENEFITS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE – Licensed Practical Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Indiana. Must have completed a state approved medication course. Minimum of one-year nursing experience in acute, or long term care preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES – Must know all aspects of basic personal care, medication administration, treatment procedures, as well as preventive, restorative and therapeutic techniques. Knowledge of medical asepsis and sterile technique. Must have interest in and be able to communicate effectively with aged and ill residents with variety of chronic illnesses or emotional disorders. Also able to communicate effectively with visitors, supervisor and co-workers. Able to work under direct supervision of Lead Charge Nurse. Able to maintain confidentiality of resident condition and personal affairs. Basic business computer knowledge preferred.
