The National Guard Bureau (NGB) J1 Warrior Resilience and Fitness (WRF) Division requires a contracted team to manage the implementation of the National Guard (NG) Connectedness and Relationship Education (CARE) System, which includes the planning and execution of site visits, trainings and briefings across the nation, marketing campaigns, implementation and evaluation plans.

Position Requirements:

Job Description: Interactive Government Holdings (IGH) is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Program Coordinator for the National Guard Connectedness and Relationship Education System.

NG CARES is an integrated, comprehensive, person-centered (eco)system which builds connections, increases protective factors, and promotes holistic health in support of Service Members and their Families throughout their career.

Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive):

  1. Work with Program Manager to support the successful development, implementation and ongoing delivery of specified programs.
  2. Conduct or facilitate required and recommended training sessions and maintain files and records of training attendance, completion, and evaluation.
  3. Develop and/or update any program associated instructor guides, participant handouts, and slides.
  4. Manage communications through media relations, social media, etc.
  5. Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
  6. Keep updated records and create reports.
  7. Collect, assimilate, and showcase data to objectively support lines of effort and resource funding.
  8. Create/coordinate online registration for events that require registration.
  9. Attend all meetings, present trainings and reports as needed.
  10. Coordinate with internal/external networks to obtain resources for events, manuals, supplies and materials.

Minimum Requirements:

Due to the nature of the service, experience with the military is required. Must possess and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license and a personally owned vehicle that can be utilized. Work may vary, and flexibility with working schedule is mandatory. Travel is anticipated for training.

Skills / Certifications / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Leadership, Organizational Development, Talent Development, Adult Learning, Instructional Performance, Human Development, or related area and at least 3-5 years of experience in a related field. A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Exemplary skills in presenting/facilitating a wide variety of training to diverse audiences and the ability to motivate, communicate, and instruct/train others on facilitation.

Ability to work as part of a team, strong interpersonal skills, and strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.

Strong command of Microsoft Office and ability to produce deliverables that carry a 'stamp of excellence.'
