Jones Dairy Farm, a family owned and operated business for over 130 years, is searching for a Bilingual Recruiter/HR Generalist. This is an excellent opportunity for a bilingual individual who can demonstrate initiative, drive and the ability to work in a team environment. He or she should be flexible with their approach to recruiting, and able to drive process to deliver desired hiring goals for the Organization.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3 years Human Resources administrative experience. Strong communication, organizational and technology skills. Solid working knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, selecting and retaining employees as well as other HR functional areas. Accuracy, confidentiality, efficiency and professionalism are essential. Consciousness of responsibility and professional integrity while translating is paramount. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple hiring managers. Experience with a labor union and/or manufacturing environment desired. The ability to read, write, understand and translate English and Spanish is required.
Position Summary
Responsible for managing the bargaining unit full life-cycle recruiting process from candidate sourcing through onboarding while. Performs new employee orientation for all employees keeping material current and relevant in both English and Spanish. Conducts and analyzes stay interviews as well as exit interviews. Participate in the organization and implementation of all company recreational events. Maintain cooperative relationship with Union employees and retain a thorough understanding of the Labor Agreement. Act as backup for the other HR positions. Work on other HR functions and special projects, as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Sufficient manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate all office equipment efficiently. Requires frequent walking, bending and sitting with exposure to production areas requiring use of safety equipment and exposure to cold, hot, damp and noisy environment. Minimal lifting over 30 lbs required. Minimal travel may be required.
