Reporting to the Compensation and HRIS Manager, the successful candidate will have responsibility for administering the current HR Information Systems (HRIS), the development of new HRIS systems and
applications, as well as supporting data management efforts related to quality and reporting.


As a member of the Corporate Human Resources Team, this position contributes a high level of energy and organization to currently planned projects to insure their timely and budgeted completion, as well as locating other areas where the HRIS processes or systems can be improved or streamlined to maximize their strategic value. Success in this role is based upon being able to demonstrate clear value to the business by executing against key objectives through partnership/collaboration with key stakeholders in HR and the business.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

HRIS Operations (50%)

  • Conduct reviews of HRIS systems and practices to locate inefficiencies, errors, or places for improved training

  • Partner with IT, to implement corrections to organizational management data to correct all existing errors

  • Improve organizational management system to bring it as closely into alignment with standards

  • Work across the organization as needed to provide support for business needs

  • Design and provide training to improve HRIS systems use across the company-wide HR team.

  • Under the guidance of subject matter experts and HR business partners, provide coaching, training and support to field HR personnel to build capability in system use, report-writing and troubleshooting

Data Tracking, Reporting and Assurance (30%)

  • Support the development and reporting of standard reports on key metrics for inclusion on HR scorecards

  • Provide regular reporting on all HRIS projects

  • Manage and analyze employee data integrity and quality in the HRIS

  • Perform regular HRIS data audits to ensure system functionality and data accuracy

Project Management (20%)

  • Provide strategic insight and tactical leadership of HRIS Projects including new module

  • Coordinate all stakeholders to reach project goals and timetables

  • Act as subject matter expert on HRIS projects and implementation on a company-wide

  • Partner with leadership and the HR Business Partners to ensure successful adoption of new HRIS procedures by clients 


  • Anticipation – Ability to anticipate problems in ongoing HRIS projects and be proactive in addressing such needs

  • HRIS and MS Office Proficiency – Strong proficiency in HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

  • Project Management – Strong experience in managing HRIS Projects, including HR Information Systems implementation

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HRIS

  • Experience in the implementing HRIS as well as other HRIS projects

  • Experience in the creation of data reports and metrics


  • Familiarity or training with Dayforce HRIS

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Computer Science or related discipline from accredited university
