Description
Job Purpose
The Online Vehicle Sales Associate supports Rawhide’s Vehicle Program by managing the online sales process for donated items, including cars, motorcycles, boats, and other vehicles. This role ensures a seamless transaction experience for customers, maintains accurate and compliant documentation, and coordinates logistics with internal teams and external partners. The associate contributes to a positive and professional purchasing experience while upholding Rawhide’s mission.
Essential Functions
- Function 1
- Guide customers through the online sales process for vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and other items.
- Complete all required sales documentation accurately for various types of vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate responsively with customers to address questions and provide detailed information on available items.
- Coordinate logistics for vehicle handoffs with internal teams and external transport partners.
Job Responsibilities

Facilitate Customer Relationships and Sales:
- Engage with customers, providing information, handling payments, and coordinating pickup or delivery of vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure transparency and satisfaction by maintaining clear, professional communication throughout the sales process.

Ensure Compliance and Accuracy in Documentation:
- Complete all sales documentation accurately and in compliance with standards for each vehicle type, keeping organized transaction records.
- Maintain accessible and systematic documentation for reporting and audits.

Collaborate Across Teams:
- Act as the main liaison for coordinating logistics between internal teams and transport providers, supporting timely handoffs for vehicles, motorcycles, and boats.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, coordinating with relevant teams as needed.

Evaluate Donations for Online Sales:
- Assess vehicle and equipment donations for potential online sales, working with the donations team to determine value and suitability.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in online sales or customer service; experience in vehicle or equipment sales is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally.
- High attention to detail for managing records and documentation specific to vehicle sales.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment specifications or mechanical aptitude is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Cash handling required with adherence to transaction protocols.
- Flexible scheduling may be needed to accommodate customer demands, including occasional evening or weekend hours.
