International Sales Manager

Humanix Books, a subsidiary of Newsmax Media, specializes in non-fiction books for independent thinkers from acclaimed experts in the areas of current events, health, finance, self-help, biography, faith, history and other topics that seek to inform and transform the human condition. Humanix has published numerous New York Times bestsellers and works from acclaimed authors, including Dr. Chauncey Crandall, David Horowitz, Ben Stein, and Dick Morris.


  • Work with publisher to position new titles and backlist for international markets

  • Target titles with high international potential and create international marketing strategies, especially in the areas of current events, health, finance and self-help

  • Drive awareness and demand for titles in international markets
    • International Focus Data Integration

    • Social media and other online publicity/postings

    • CoreSource title maintenance with focus on international metadata requirements

    • Edelweiss catalogs > international and foreign rights focus

    • Humanix maintenance

  • Maintain and grow Humanix foreign contacts list (Publishers and Accounts)

  • Research trends in international arena and recommend innovative sales/publicity strategies

  • Make sales and/or foreign rights presentations to international publishers and accounts

  • Coordinate with appropriate Newsmax marketing and other departments to leverage international sales


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Minimum of 3+ years book publishing experience in global sales, marketing and/or foreign rights

  • Knowledge of international book market and foreign publisher/account contacts

  • Overall familiarity with book publishing process: Acquisitions, editorial, production, marketing, sales, licensing

  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Adobe, Powerpoint, CoreSource, and Edelweiss

  • Interest in and knowledge of non-fiction categories: health/wellness; personal finance; current events

  • Excellent people and communication skills

  • Superior organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter
