.Net Developer I

POSITION SUMMARY:
The .Net Developer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies. They will maintain existing systems and create new business solutions from inception to fully developed products. The .Net Developer will report to the Manager, Integration and Development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety
• Follows plant safety procedures and guidelines
• Informs supervisor of safety issues; reports any workplace injury or incident immediately
Task
• Ensures all systems are secure, standard and available.
• Work with business professionals to develop and continuously improve our applications that support all the business process.
• Collaborate with others to automate processes and ensure appropriate ongoing access to data.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Resolve code problems and data-related issues on a timely basis.
• Embrace an organization model that is self-directed / self-managed as a team and as individuals.
• Implements enterprise wide technology standards and service levels related to infrastructure, connectivity, desktop infrastructure, desktop software and telecommunications and runs support.
• Supports company Food Safety efforts through commitment and compliance to SQF standard practices and policies
• Follows plant quality practices including Good Manufacturing Practices, or GMP’s
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree completed in computer technology related program
• 0-2 years of experience as a developer would be a plus
• Strong understanding of computer science basics including application development and database
• Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations
• Must be able to manage multiple work items at one time with a high sense of urgency
• Collaborate and communicate well with others, strong written and verbal communication, comfortable with varying (and reactive) daily responsibilities
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee’s work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Employee is expected to maintain an organized work area and contribute to the overall decorum of a professional setting. A minimal amount of work will require exposure to the manufacturing facility. Employee is expected to be familiar and in compliance with all plant safety and cleanliness (GMP) regulations. Work days are generally Monday through Friday; however, the employee is expected to work additional, including weekend hours as required fulfilling job duties.
