A premier family owned professional services contractor located in Manassas, VA is seeking an efficient Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage internal accounting operations including payroll for their valued workforce. This individual will have considerable accounting experience in processing full cycle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll for both hourly and salaried employees as well as bring a solid grasp of Sage 100 financial software. Reporting to the Office Manager, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will be comfortable in this standalone roll, enjoy the friendly, laid-back office environment and family-oriented feel that the company ignited 40 years ago. Job Requirements

Responsibilities Duties: - 2+ years? experience in full cycle AP, AR, matching invoices and purchase orders with corresponding projects, including job cost pricing and entries - Strong working knowledge of Sage 100 financial software - Manage credit card expenses, bank accounts, and corresponding general ledger reconciliations - Processes payroll for 30+ employees weekly, submit ACH deposits/print checks and process payroll taxes - Enter, schedule and prepare invoice checks and ACH payments - Manage Sage 100, post journal entries and assist in preparing cash flow projections, 1099?s, W-2 and supporting documentation for CPA - Assists with preparation of financial statements, month end close, quarterly and monthly tax reporting - Maintain ongoing renewals of business licenses - Facilitate new employee onboarding, conduct E-verify, ensure accurate documentation received and enter employees in Sage and StreetSmart systems - Top-notch analytical, organization and detailed approach in financial reporting and in communications with internal staff, contractors, vendors and clients (bilingual in Spanish a plus!)
