Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
The System Administrator will be responsible for providing a full range of IT support services to customer activities including client/server services and administration of enterprise network infrastructure. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of System/ Network administration functions in Windows Server 2012R2, Windows 7, and Linux environments including Active Directory, DNS, GPOs, hardening and auditing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Experience with virtualized environments (VMware vSphere 5.x) and knowledge of provisioning hardware, storage, resources and configuration/administration, including high-availability and failover services for cloud infrastructures.
•Configuration and O&M of RHEL 6/7, Ubuntu operating systems, and Linux based applications.
•Deployment of 2-factor authentication solutions.
•Knowledge in setup and configuration of VTC, VoIP, and Polycom technologies.
•O&M of Windows applications such as WSUS, Exchange, SharePoint, SCCM, Google Earth, and Splunk.
•Experience with RAIDs, SANs, High Availability, Backups and Disaster Recovery.
•Experience in configuring network switches, working with VLANs, and knowledge of routing protocols.
•Knowledge in security hardening of operating systems in a standalone environment as well as through GPOs.
•Research and obtain quotes for hardware/software based on customer requirements.
•Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required.
•Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science or related field) or equivalent, and 7+ years of relevant experience.
•DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (e.g. Security+ certification).
•Occasional travel may be required (up to 25%).
•Familiarity with security hardening process as it relates to ICD 503.
•Data backup knowledge is highly desired.
•Previous experience supporting the NRO is highly desired.
•VMware VCP, Microsoft MCP, and/or Cisco CCNS certifications desired.
