Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for:
POSITION: Day Shift Production Manager
LOCATION: Arthur TN 37707 / KY Area (70 miles north of Knoxville)
SALARY: $75-83K + 12% Bonus + Pension Program
EXPERIENCE: 3-5+ Years Experience in the Manufacturing Industry with some experience managing supervisors and hourlies
HOURS: Day Shift
RELOCATION: Relocation Package
The Manager is responsible for daily plant operation, usually for a combination of shifts. This person will assure plant production, safety, and quality objectives are met.
Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment
Establish and direct plant policies and procedures
Responsible for plant production and productivity objectives
Responsible for establishing shift production schedules
Accountable for maintaining positive variances (Yields, Labor, Supplies, and Packaging);
Assist supervisors with supervising and training production employees.
Work with all employees to ensure production/yield requirements are met on a daily basis.
Ensure safety of all employees.
Maximize yields and throughputs.
Direct responsibility for 5 to 10 exempt Production Supervisors
Minimize downtime, accidents and turnover.
Review daily reporting for shifts (i.e. production reports, attendance/staffing report, etc.) as necessary.
Plan and implement process improvements.
Actively participate in team meetings.
Works to build and maintain effective relationships with employees and customers.
Participates in the development of all employees within designated area.
Enforce Company policies and procedures.
Administer corrective action plans or disciplinary action on a consistent basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Three to Five years in leadership role in plant manufacturing
