We are presently seeking a talented and energetic Payroll Clerk to play a key role in our growing company, as it serves the needs of our rapidly-expanding heath care services client base across the United States. The Payroll Clerk will have a variety of routine and non-routine payroll functions for several facilities. This position is based in ESI's South Orange County Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
- Superior customer service skills
- Proven track record with payroll systems setup, testing and report writing
- Strong knowledge of rules and regulations of multi-state taxation
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and work under time constraints
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Minimum 2-4 years of payroll experience.
- CPP Certification a plus
- Prior experience with payroll software
- Workday software experience a plus
- Payroll accounting experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new system with ease
