An exciting opportunity as a Charge Nurse for a reputable Surgery Center has just become available in the vibrant, Bay Area.
This Ambulatory Surgery Center has been providing high quality care to its community for over thirty years. It is accredited by the Joint Commission. The Director of Nursing will have the opportunity to join a surgical center that is affiliated with a larger hospital system. The surgery center does about 600 cases per month.
The Charge RN will work in a Surgery Center that includes, 6 Operating Rooms, Ortho, ENT, and pain management. The surgery center offers a wide variety of outpatient surgical services, including: General Surgery, Gynecological Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Arthroscopic Surgery, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery, Pain Management, Podiatric Surgery, and Periodontal Surgery.
The Charge Nurse Surgical Center will report to the Manager. The Charge RN will provide care to patients within the Surgical Center, follow the nursing process in the delivery of patient care, and provide clinical leadership for other nursing staff as assigned.
The Charge Nurse Ambulatory Surgery Center will find their home away from home in the Bay Area. With lots of natural beauty to enjoy scenic hikes or striking views of the Bay. There are endless options of where to dine and shop. An excursion to wine country is always only a short drive away or a drive down to the beach.
