Join us and lead a dynamic, best-in-class product marketing team that helps innovators in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry discover and adopt the right technology solutions to design and build a better world for us all. Focusing on our industry leading AEC Design products such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and our cloud collaboration tools, you will be reporting into the Sr. Director of AEC Marketing. You and your team will be part of the product journey from beginning to end: launching new products and features, determining product positioning based on market and competitor data, crafting value propositions and conducting competitive analysis as well as developing case studies, marketing assets, sales collateral and customer research.
The AEC industry is experiencing unprecedented disruption with new digital trends and technologies opening the door to better collaboration, profit margins and project outcomes while tackling challenges such as globalization, increased demand, resource constraints, climate change and investment gaps. You will be responsible for growing the industry leadership of Autodesk's AEC Design solutions.
Responsibilities
* Leading a team of talented product marketers to excellence by developing effective, innovative marketing strategies, driving team collaboration, and overseeing their execution
* Guiding team members and colleagues on the transition to audience marketing
* Partnering with cross-functional teams to define and execute the marketing plan that move the needle on key business objectives
* Developing product messaging and positioning based on customer feedback and user and competitive research
* Developing messaging and value proposition and translating them into customer-facing marketing assets (e.g. blog posts, presentations, case studies, whitepapers, videos, brochures, etc.)
* Planning and executing product launches and event strategies to showcase the latest product features at Autodesk and third-party events
* Tracking, measuring, and reporting against marketing and business goals
* Becoming a true champion of AEC Design, internally and externally, including through keynotes and product demos
* You are passionate about understanding customers and translating product features into persona-specific, relevant benefits
* You can break down complex ideas into simple messaging
* You can think beyond point products to market multi-product capabilities and solutions instead
* You always look to innovate and think of new ideas to tell the story of our products and the benefits they can bring to our customers
* You are a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves to collaborate while being able to independently bring projects to completion
* You possess exceptional organizational skills being able to work and influence stakeholders cross-functionally amidst multiple priorities and goals
* You can combine your analytical skills and critical thinking with an intuition for key customer insights and industry trends and quickly turn data into actionable insights
* You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, are highly articulate and can make compelling arguments orally and visually
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or 8 years of similar work experience
* At least 6 years leading complex, global product and feature launches within tight deadlines
* At least 5 years of people management experience
* Building marketing strategies based on a deep understanding of business strategy, audiences, markets, products and competitive landscapes
* Leading project and/or functional teams to successful outcomes with measurable impact to the business
* Creating compelling marketing assets, including videos, landing pages, eBooks, sales decks and event/webinar content
* Keeping an open channel for collecting product feedback from customers, sales leadership, field teams, partners, business strategists and analysts
* Bringing the product story to life online driving leads and e-store conversions
* Conducting customer research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and investigate industry trends relevant to key personas
* Crafting compelling, relevant, customer-centric product positioning and messaging
* Working with tech products, SaaS and / or cloud technology a plus
* Training teams across sales, partners, and the broader marketing organizations enabling them to correctly message, position and sell our products

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $143,700 and $232,320. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
