  • Communicate problems, maintenance needs and incidents to the Environmental Services Coordinator.
  • Dust mop, sweep, mop, and clean all corners and cove bases in preparation for floor maintenance.
  • Spray buff and polish patient/resident rooms, hallways, and classrooms daily.
  • Keep all equipment (i.e., high speed and low speed buffers) clean and in good working condition.
  • Strip/wax floors correctly without supervision.
  • Ensure that all furniture is cleaned behind properly.
  • Monitor all compact and trash areas ensuring cleanliness at all times.                           
  • Keep equipment locked when it is unattended.
  • Take responsibility for the proper and economical use of supplies.
  • Provide care and/or conduct patient/resident interactions in a manner appropriate for the age, culture, and population being served.
  • Follow all safety policies and adheres to all worker's compensation program guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
